Jeremy Renner Responds to His Estranged Wife's Divorce Filing

The actor is firing back at his estranged wife Sonni Pacheco's December 2014 divorce filing, in which she seeks primary custody of their 23-month-old daughter, Ava, asks for their prenup to be torn up and claims the actor's house is unsafe for their child.

In a new court filing responding to Pacheco, Renner asks to maintain joint custody of Ava. He asks the court to enforce their prenup and maintains he's fully paid up on child support. 

He claims that his house is child-safe and that Pacheco lived in it for the duration of their marriage.

In the initial divorce filing from Pacheco, she cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and said their prenup should be thrown out because of "fraud."

The low-profile couple married in January 2014.
